What we collect
When you register for our webinar, we collect information you provide, such as: name, email, company, role, firm size, platform/CRM details, and any free-text responses. We may also collect basic analytics about attendance and engagement (e.g., who joined, duration).
Why we collect it (how we use your information)
To process your registration and deliver the webinar (access links, reminders, Q&A follow-ups).
To send resources promised in the session (slides, recordings, checklists).
To send relevant product/service updates and invitations (only if you opt in, or where permitted by law).
To improve our content and services (aggregated, de-identified analysis).
Legal basis / Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where required, we rely on your consent (e.g., marketing opt-in). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Disclosure to service providers
We use reputable processors to run the event and communicate with you, for example:
LinkedIn (event registration)
Webinar platform (e.g., Zoom or Microsoft Teams)
Email service (e.g., Twilio SendGrid)
These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may store data in other countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Storage & retention
We keep registration data for up to 24 months after the event (or sooner if you unsubscribe), then delete or de-identify it unless we need to keep it longer for legal or administrative reasons.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect your information. No method is 100% secure, but we work to mitigate risks.
Your choices
Access & correction: You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information.
Opt-out: You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us.
Recording notice: Webinars may be recorded. By attending, you consent to the recording. If you ask a question, your name/voice may be captured.
Cookies & tracking
If you visit our website or event pages, limited cookie/analytics data may be collected by us or our providers to deliver the service and understand engagement.
